Jason Church - Board Member

Jason Church brings more than two decades of deep industry experience to his role with Legacy Builders. As an Account Manager in Business Development at Hewson Brothers Building Supply, Jason supports contractors across commercial, modular, residential, industrial, and agricultural projects, helping source the right building materials, managing orders, and coordinating closely with builders to ensure projects run smoothly. Over his 25 year career in building materials and construction supply, he’s worn many hats, including warehouse operations, delivery logistics, safety management, inside and outside sales, and general management, giving him a broad, hands-on understanding of the construction supply chain.

But Jason’s contribution goes far beyond supplying materials. For more than a decade he has volunteered with the Business & Education Partnership Waterloo Region (BEPWR), sharing his knowledge with youth from grades 7 through 12. Through classroom talks and presentations, he speaks candidly about the opportunities in skilled trades, workplace safety, and building a meaningful career, helping shift mindsets among students and their families about trades as a viable and respected path.

What drives Jason is a commitment to delivering more than just building materials, he wants to provide practical solutions, deliver on time and within budget, and support the next generation in discovering rewarding careers in construction. As he puts it, the most meaningful part of his work is “guiding the next generation toward skilled trades.”

Joining the board of the Legacy Builders Ontario is a natural extension of that commitment. With his deep industry background and long-standing passion for mentorship and education, Jason is positioned to help Legacy Builders continue building bridges between students, communities, and the trades, shaping a future workforce that is skilled, confident, and engaged.
