Legacy Builders is a not-for-profit organization introducing Grade 7 and 8 students to the real careers available in construction—from skilled trades and engineering to project management, safety, estimating, accounting, technology, design, marketing, and leadership. Through engaging classroom experiences led by industry volunteers, we're changing outdated perceptions and helping students see construction as a first-choice career.
But we can't reach every classroom alone.
We need advocates.
People who believe in the future of our industry and are willing to help us spread the word.
The Workforce Challenge Starts Long Before Hiring.
By the time students graduate high school, many have already decided what careers they're interested in.
If construction isn't introduced before those decisions are made, we've already lost countless future tradespeople, project managers, engineers, business leaders, and innovators.
That's why Legacy Builders focuses on reaching students before they choose their high school pathways—giving them an opportunity to discover careers they may never have considered otherwise.
