Building the Future of Construction Starts with Trust

At Legacy Builders Construction Careers Association, we believe the future of construction depends on what we are willing to invest in today: young people, meaningful education and strong connections between industry and our communities.

As a nonprofit introducing students to the range of careers available in construction, we have a responsibility to deliver a program that deserves the confidence of the people supporting it.

That responsibility extends to how we operate, how we make decisions and how we communicate the use of our resources.

Transparency is a foundation we are committed to building on.

Our sponsors, volunteers, educators and industry partners contribute more than funding. They share their time, expertise, relationships and reputations because they believe in our mission. We want them to understand how that support helps us deliver classroom programming, equip students, coordinate volunteers and responsibly expand our reach.

Delivering a high-quality program requires investment in both the student experience and the people and systems behind it. Sharing how those pieces fit together helps our supporters understand what it takes to create meaningful, lasting impact.

As we grow, we are committed to clear financial reporting, open communication and thoughtful stewardship of the resources entrusted to us. We welcome questions about our work, our priorities and how support is being used. Those conversations help us build stronger relationships and make better decisions.

Strong governance is equally important to that commitment.

We are proud to have a board of experienced industry professionals helping guide Legacy Builders. Their knowledge of construction, business operations, safety and the realities facing employers brings valuable perspective to our decisions.

A strong board provides oversight, asks thoughtful questions and helps us assess opportunities against our mission and capacity. That guidance matters as we work to reach more students while maintaining the quality of the program we deliver.

Growth carries responsibility. Every new classroom, volunteer and partnership requires preparation and support. Our board helps us consider those needs carefully so that our ambitions are supported by a sound plan.

We want educators to feel confident welcoming us into their classrooms. We want volunteers to feel prepared and supported. We want sponsors to understand the impact of their investment. Above all, we want students to leave our sessions with a broader understanding of construction and the possibilities it holds for their future.

Our industry needs a strong workforce pipeline, and building one takes sustained collaboration. Nonprofits and industry associations have an important role to play, supported by clear priorities, accountable leadership and the trust of their communities.

At Legacy Builders, we are dedicated to earning that trust as we continue building a program our board, volunteers, partners and supporters can be proud to stand behind.
