What inspired your company to support Legacy Builders and invest in the next generation of skilled trades professionals?

Our team was inspired to support Legacy Builders because the program aligns directly with our commitment to strengthening the construction industry and fostering community impact. We’ve seen firsthand—through participating in school sessions and sponsoring program initiatives—that early exposure to construction careers helps young people build confidence, curiosity, and practical understanding of the built environment. Our leadership has also recognized the value of Legacy Builders as a meaningful way to give back, demonstrated through ongoing participation, session facilitation, and financial sponsorship.

Why is supporting careers in construction and skilled trades important to your business and your industry as a whole?

A strong skilled trades workforce is essential to the success of our projects, our clients, and the broader industry. As construction demands grow and labour shortages increase, investing in future trades professionals helps ensure the long term health and resiliency of the sector. By supporting Legacy Builders, we’re not only promoting career awareness but also helping youth see that construction is a stable, rewarding, and essential field with countless pathways for personal and professional growth.

How does your company support learning, mentorship, or career growth—either within your organization or the communities you serve?

Our firm places a strong emphasis on continuous learning, collaboration, and professional development. Internally, teams regularly volunteer for programs such as Legacy Builders, delivering hands‑on learning experiences in classrooms and helping students understand real‑world construction concepts. We also engage in mentorship‑driven activities by preparing presentations, reviewing teaching materials, and ensuring our staff can participate through PD time where appropriate. Externally, our sponsorship and involvement in community education programs demonstrate our commitment to fostering career exploration and meaningful learning beyond the walls of our studio.

What message would you want students and families to hear about careers in the skilled trades?

Careers in the skilled trades are innovative, dynamic, and foundational to building the communities we live in. These careers offer stability, creativity, continuous learning, and the satisfaction of seeing your work make a tangible difference. The construction industry needs talented young people of all backgrounds, and there is a place for every skill set—whether hands‑on, technical, or design‑oriented. We want students and families to know that the skilled trades are not just jobs—they’re pathways to lifelong, meaningful careers with opportunities for advancement, leadership, and impact.

What does being a Legacy Builders partner mean to your company, and how do you hope this partnership makes a long-term impact?

Being a Legacy Builders partner reflects our commitment to strengthening the future of our industry while supporting youth education in our community. This partnership allows us to directly contribute to shaping the next generation of builders, designers, and trades professionals by providing financial sponsorship as well as hands‑on involvement in school programming. We hope the long‑term impact of this partnership will be a more informed, inspired, and prepared workforce—one that feels confident exploring opportunities in construction and is excited to contribute to the growth of our communities for years to come
