Celebrating the Builders Behind the Impact: Join Us June 2

At Legacy Builders, we often talk about the future — the next generation, the next opportunity, the next step for our industry. But on June 2, we’re taking a moment to do something just as important: celebrate the people who are building that future today.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating

Over the past few years, Legacy Builders has grown from an idea into a movement.

Together with our volunteers, sponsors, and industry partners, we have:

  • Reached 6,000+ students and teachers

  • Visited 88 schools across the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region

  • Opened the door to meaningful, rewarding careers in construction

And we’re just getting started.

This impact doesn’t happen on its own. It’s driven by the people who show up — in classrooms, behind the scenes, and across the industry — to invest in what comes next.

The Legacy Builders Impact Celebration

To recognize that collective effort, we are hosting our Legacy Builders Impact Celebration — an evening dedicated to the community that makes this program possible.

This will be a relaxed and engaging evening featuring:

  • Great food and drinks

  • Indoor mini putt

  • Meaningful connections with industry peers

  • A look ahead at the next phase of Legacy Builders

More than anything, it’s an opportunity to bring together the people who believe in building something bigger than themselves.

A Community That’s Growing

The Legacy Builders network continues to expand, bringing together leaders from across the construction industry, including contractors, suppliers, associations, educators, and municipalities.

It’s a powerful reminder that solving the workforce challenge is not the responsibility of one company — it’s something we achieve together as an industry.

Looking Ahead

While this event is a celebration, it’s also a moment to look forward.

Legacy Builders is continuing to expand into new regions across Ontario, bringing the program to more schools, more students, and more communities. As we grow, so does the opportunity for industry leaders to play a role in shaping the future workforce.

Be Part of What’s Next

If you’ve received an invitation, we encourage you to check your inbox and RSVP — we would love to celebrate with you.

If you’re new to Legacy Builders and interested in getting involved, there are many ways to participate:

  • Volunteer in a classroom session

  • Become a sponsor or partner

  • Support through materials, resources, or advocacy

Every contribution helps build a stronger, more sustainable future for our industry.
